Luca Appino is behind the signs at Ruam Ruedi and Sukhumvit in Bangkok. The passion for pizza is combined with that for wine and catering, with several locations in the Thai capital. Implementing delivery service during the lockdown, the two businesses continue to accommodate customers with a winning formula somewhere between restaurant and pizzeria, complete with a deep wine list. The discs bake in Neapolitan wood-fired ovens, we recommend the version with grilled eggplant, burrata cheese and baked cherry tomatoes or the version with culatello di Zibello (not quite so easy to find in the city).
