NEAPOLITAN PIZZA
The pizza specialists. That's the claim of this brand that cleared customs of Neapolitan pizza culture in Peru. The first opened in the San Isidro district in 2011, the second in 2016 in the Miraflores neighborhood. The pizza is kneaded and rolled out by hand, baked in a 400-degree wood-fired oven and topped with fresh ingredients (although some toppings wink at locals for flavor pairings and generosity). Let's remember the Margherita, with its well-lit crust and centered bite, and the Spizza with tomato, mozzarella, cooked ham and caramelized leek.
