Food is the Eighth Art; the ‘baptism’ was celebrated on 7 November 2019
in the deconsecrated church of San Carpoforo at the Brera Academy in Milan.
The event was celebrated with the presentation of a book dedicated to ‘pizza’
arguably the most famous dish in the world, part of the priceless heritage
that Italian cuisine is fortunate enough to possess.
Naturally possessing 70% of the planet’s biodiversity, combined
with the universally recognised title of Cultural Superpower, makes us
a country very difficult to match.
Fully aware that this issue should be on everyone’s mind
as it is in the interests of the whole of Italy, yet unfortunately this is still not the case today, we can
only commit ourselves to promoting the immeasurable beauty that these gold mines
represent, telling the stories of those who make their living through art or food and wine.
