MODERN - DESIGN Norbert Niederkofler arrives in Milan bringing with him his commitment to sustainability. The kitchen, in the expert hands of Alberto Toè, offers two tasting routes where the search for local products (not more than an hour from the capital) is a must. In the summer, the terraces with views ranging from the spires of the Duomo to the Castello Sforzesco are a further plus of the restaurant, which also becomes an ideal destination for an aperitif thanks to an extensive cocktail list. The interiors with natural wooden tables create a sober and well-kept amblente suitable for both fine dining and casual dining, in this case, however, the proposal becomes simpler.
m-1-stella The chef's commitment: Niederkofler's Cook the Mountain philosophy arrives in Milan in the formula1 Hour: all the suppliers of the restaurant's raw materials (natural and organic) are less than 1 hour away (traffic permitting!), a nice support for the tradition of Lombard farmhouses ! Equally effective is the 100% step no waste policy through fermentation, garum, dehydration and composting. Finally, the Medelan building which hosts Horto has been certified for environmental sustainability.
