How are things going today?

Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 14:30 since Sunday, November 4, 1998, at 02:03, the users of the acena.it guide have totaled 1,320,582,020. In the last week (842,623), this represents a significant international success with a considerable annual growth rate, a weekly consultation average that varies from 480,000 to 900,000 (depending on the time of year) with a decidedly active growth trend.

All this effectively makes ours one of the most regarded and consulted restaurant guides in the world, which, besides being an incredibly motivating fuel for our work, indicates that the path we have taken is the right one.

On what basis do we make such statements?

First of all, as is well known, communication channels are measurable and therefore inevitably also manipulable; this has always depended on the integrity of the publisher and the market trends.
In this regard, evaluation parameters are usually established based on specific market research, called surveys, where an "average usage" is estimated. This type of operation has always been quite expensive because it requires various sources of information.

The Internet is a much more measurable case than others because it reports the actual results obtained, not just estimates of potential, making it a much more reliable and credible tool compared to all other media.

Consistent with our choices of professional ethics, we preferred to use a program for measuring traffic officially approved by w3.org, the Leading Consortium of the Internet; the program was configured with a 1 to 1 measurement unit, a method to obtain greater clarity: if a visitor "enters," the general counter will increase by 1 and not by + the pages they visit, which are instead reported in other sections of the portal and serve to measure the bandwidth traffic, which is measured in megabits or gigabits useful for determining the annual budget to invest in bandwidth.

An example of detailed access statistics can be summarized as follows: "General Summary: Monthly Report: Weekly Report: Daily Report: Summary of Weekdays: Summary of Hours of the Day: Domain Report: Organization Report: Host Report: Status Code Report: File Size Report: File Type Report: Directory Report: Failures Report: Requests Report."

This information is sent to restaurateurs and our corporate clients monthly via email / regular mail / SMS...
